I never leave reviews, but felt this was necessary. My mother, and my brother, had previously been patients here and both decided to find a new PCP after their experiences. They warned me, but at the time it was the only Medical Center accepting new patients, which is no coincidence. Every other Medical Center had no availability because they retain patients. My experience was awful. The receptionists are rude in person, and over the phone. They made multiple mistakes when I became a new patient, to the point where I had to make several in person visits in the first few weeks. Some of the visits were completely pointless and accomplished nothing, while also getting me in front of the doctor on average an hour after my appointment time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, although they refuse to ever take accountability. The second you express any warranted frustration, they immediately snap back and will hang up or put you on hold. I was nothing but respectful while expressing my frustrations because of the mistakes that were made. I will say that Dr. Daphnee Johnson was the only one to ever apologize and understand that my experience should have been better. The receptionists

All of the good Docters are gone. I had a PA touch me improperly but MGMT didn't seem to care. They claimed they would fire her but that never happened. They have new Drs. every time I go there. I was told by Tommy they are losing 30K a month. Even the office staff is leaving. The owner Tommy is running this place into the ground. I had the same Dr. for 6 years. When she quit the office and other Drs left too.

I came to Sarasota Medical Center looking for a primary care physician that I felt would actually listen and take the necessary time with me during  appointments.  Upon my arrival to the office I was greeted warmly and professionally by office personnel and did not have to wait at all for my appointment. I found that same high level of professionalism and attention to detail with Dr. Camille and Nurse Andrea . From my first office visit I truly felt like I was in good hands with these medical professionals.  They showed that they cared about my health and overall Wellness. Thank you to Camille and Andrea providing such amazing and personal care. I highly recommend Sarasota Medical Center

I had my first visit with Camille Kasten and was OVERLY impressed with her! She is an excellent communicator and listener and I walked out of my appointment thoroughly pleased. Kristen who scheduled my appointment was wonderful on the phone AND in person. You truly have a GEM running the front reception area. Way to go, Sarasota Medical Center!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarasota Medical Center. Dr. Daphne Johnson and the entire staff consistently go above and beyond to make patients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for. The level of attentiveness and professionalism is exceptional from the moment you walk through the door. Dr. Tommy is outstanding, full of charisma, knowledgeable, and thorough in his approach. Both physicians take the time to explain everything clearly and ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your care plan. The office itself is well-run, organized, and welcoming. The staff is courteous, efficient, and truly kind — something that makes all the difference in a medical setting. If you are looking for a practice where patient care is clearly the top priority, Sarasota Medical Center is it. Highly recommend.
